This course will address the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s identification and classification requirements for listed and characteristic wastes. This course is focused on the common waste management issues that companies face every day. This course can help most companies comply with the complex federal and state regulatory requirements for the generation, management and transport of hazardous & universal wastes.  This course does not address the generation, management and transport of all types of hazardous wastes. 

For example, this course will not address the following wastes or waste management topics:

• Mixed Radiological and Hazardous wastes​
• Biological or infectious wastes​
• Pharmaceutical wastes (other than P or U listed wastes)​
• Import or export shipments of hazardous wastes​
• Treatment or reclamation of hazardous wastes

A detailed examination is available and a Certificate of Completion will be awarded to participants receiving 80% or better on the comprehensive exam.
