Course Overview

This course will outline methods, procedures and equipment to protect yourself and your fellow employees from the risk of exposure to potentially infectious materials and bloodborne pathogens.  If you already have a health and safety program in place, perhaps this course will provide you with some additional ideas to consider, or encourage you to make your existing program even better. 

This course is will outline appropriate control measures to minimize the risk of exposure to infectious materials and bloodborne pathogens, and describe the requirements for implementing, maintaining, and providing training on a Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Control Plan (or ECP).

At the end of this course, you will be asked to take the Certification Test, which is designed to reinforce these concepts and to measure comprehension of the concepts presented in this program.
