Course Overview
This course is focused on the common hazardous materials issues that dealers face every day. This course can help most dealers comply with the regulatory and other requirements that have been identified by members of the automotive community.
This course does not address the transportation of all types of hazardous materials or modes of transportation. For example, this course will not address the transport of:
Course Objectives
The objectives of this course are to:
•Outline
a well-defined, and effective, Accident Investigation Program
•Describe
methods and procedures for conducting an accident investigation including the
collection of facts and statements from witnesses
•Describe
a systematic approach to identify root causes of an accident and define
corrective actions
•Describe
methods and procedures for documenting, reporting and/or recording the incident
or accident
A detailed examination is available and a Certificate of Completion will be awarded to participants receiving 80% or better on the comprehensive exam.
